Making Your Own Cremes, Lotions, and Salves

During this class, you will make a creme, a lotion, and a beeswax creme and salve, as well as getting other recipes to take home for future use. You'll learn the principles of blending oils and water and the secrets of perfect emulsification, as well as the principles of using beeswax as a base for healing ingredients. We'll discuss the healing properties of different vegetable oils and essential oils. Anyone who has an interest in making their own massage and/or skin care products will love this class, particularly people who have sensitive skin--or clients with sensitive skin--and want to be in control of the ingredients that go into their products.
